Example of Using a Video Tutorial

The Diagnosis: Plagiarism video tutorial is designed to give students an introduction to the basics of plagiarism and citations and is made to be inserted into your Canvas course(s).

Plus pre- and post- assessments that can be inserted as tests in Canvas.

Content based on MLA 6th edition and APA 5th edition.

To import Diagnosis Plagiarism video and/or quizzes into your Canvas class:

  1. Go to your Canvas Course.
  2. Go to course Settings, and choose “Import content into this course” from the buttons on the right side.
  3. Choose “Canvas course export package” from the “Content Type” drop-down.
  4. Click the “Choose File”/”Browse” button and navigate to find the .zip file you want.
  5. Choose “Select specific content” and click the blue Import button.
  6. You will see the “Select Content” button appear after a short period - click it.
  7. Then click the black triangle next to “Quizzes”, choose the materials you want to use, then click “Select Content”.
  8. After it runs this job, you will find them in the Quizzes area of your course, ready to deploy.
